![]() But aside from that, they've been pretty terrible across the board. They have good artists: the locos look good, and while still incredibly static and lifeless, they put a lot of work on the recreation of the maps and tracks. That alone simply is appalling and if this doesn't lower your expectations when it comes to dovetail's engineering skills, I don't know what will. I didn't bother to re-DL and play TSW2020, but last time I checked (2 to 3 years post release), changing the keybinds was still not working. We basically had a paid alpha for over three to four years (alpha, because it is still not feature complete compared to what was promised or teased) and we f**kers threw money at them so they can keep shoving out incomplete and buggy DLCs over and over without adressing the core issues of their game and the missing features. Wheelslip was working in Train simulalor, but not on their newer, "next-gen simulation title". I'll state this again, but friction and wheelslip, something that was promised and obviously necessary for a "next gen sim" has NEVER been delivered in TSW, and probably never will now. It would have been a nice move from DTG towards its player base, since a lot of us sunk a lot of money on a half-baked and incomplete product. ![]() The old DLCs (maps and locos) work on TSW2 yet, we can't benefit from the engine's improvements on TSW 2020 ? It works one way but not the other ?Īs stated by others, most developpers would have patched the original game with the newer engine and its improvements for free, while retaining all the new content on the newer platform (which makes sense, you still want to get fresh money to keep the company going). We'll be able to use any DLC we bought for the original TSW in TSW2. Originally posted by Peter:One good thing. Why Ireland’s stock market should be on your investment map Sep.
